While Krav Maga is not a fitness class, regular classes are also a great way to get fit and tone. Our members regularly report their fitness and strength rapidly increasing, along with impressive weight loss.

We've got 3 classes suitable for beginners to choose from. You will progress with 1 class a week but we recommend 2 classes a week for fast progress (and if you want to come to more classes, that's included in your membership for extra flexibility).

No experience is necessary! Our Krav Maga Self Defence Classes cater to beginners and advanced students alike. Instructors tailor training to individual abilities, ensuring everyone progresses at their own pace.

What should I wear/bring to class?

Wear comfortable workout clothes (e.g., t-shirt, training pants) and bring water. We train barefoot or in indoor shoes—avoid outdoor footwear for hygiene and safety.

Is Krav Maga suitable for women?

Absolutely! Krav Maga is ideal for women’s self-defence, teaching practical techniques to escape grabs, strikes, and weapon threats. Many women in our North Shore classes train for empowerment and personal safety.

Are the Krav Maga North Shore Classes suitable for Teenagers?

Currently we do not have a specific class for Teenagers (or kids) but we do allow older teenagers to join our class (typically 15+ is a good age)

Is Krav Maga a good workout?

Yes! Classes improve strength, endurance, and agility while teaching life-saving skills. It’s a full-body workout that’s both functional and engaging.
