Sound familiar?

You've Been Thinking About This for a While. You Just Haven't Found the Right Place to Start.

Maybe you've looked at boxing or kickboxing — but it feels more like sport than self-defence. Maybe you've considered a gym programme — but circuits and weights don't teach you anything useful if something actually happens. And full martial arts gyms can feel intimidating, cliquey, or just not built for someone starting from scratch.

You'd like to feel more capable and confident — in and out of training
You want practical skills, not sport techniques or fitness routines
You'd prefer a step-by-step start over dropping into classes you don't understand yet
You're not sure if you're fit enough, experienced enough, or ready — and you don't want to find out the hard way

This beginner course is built for exactly that. Not sport. Not fitness. A real-world system — designed to give you a clear place to start and build from. But before we get into what's included — answer a few quick questions so we can make sure it's the right fit for you.

What Does the Course Cover?

A Clear Starting Point — Built for Beginners.

This is a beginner course built on the Krav Maga Global curriculum — the same system used by certified instructors worldwide. Four sessions, one per week, each building on the last. You'll know exactly what you're learning, why it matters, and what comes next.

By session four, most people move differently, react faster, and feel noticeably more confident — in and out of training.

Session 1

Foundations

"Understand what self-defence actually starts with."
Stance, movement, and positioning
Situational awareness — reading risk before it develops
De-escalation and creating distance
"Most real-world safety happens before anything becomes physical."
Session 2

Striking

"Simple, direct — not relying on size or strength."
Effective striking mechanics — coached step by step
Targeting vulnerable points — works regardless of size
Building combinations under pressure — not just theory
"Most people are surprised at how quickly the techniques start to feel natural."
Session 3

Defence

"Know what to do when someone grabs or attacks you."
Defences against grabs, holds, and common real-world attacks
Creating distance and responding effectively
Pressure drills — calm, not overwhelming
"I can actually respond. I won't freeze the same way."
Session 4

Putting It Together

"Apply what you've learned — in realistic, controlled drills."
Realistic but controlled scenario drills
Weapons situations — recognised and responded to progressively
Confidence under pressure — built through repetition
"Most people are surprised at how naturally it starts to come together."

Common Questions

What People Usually Ask Before Registering

No experience and no particular fitness level is required. The course is structured to build both from where you are. You won't be thrown in at the deep end — you start at the beginning and progress logically from there.

Essentials follows a structured four-session curriculum — you start at the beginning and build logically from there. Dropping into open classes without foundations can feel disorienting. Essentials gives you those foundations in a clear, progressive order before you join ongoing training.

No. Completing the quiz means we'll send you information and let you know when the next intake opens. You decide if and when you want to book. There's no obligation at any point until you choose to book your intro session.

Yes. The first session is a standalone 90-minute intro for $30. There's no obligation to continue beyond that. If you decide to join the full four-session course, the $30 comes off the total — and you'll also get access to our training video library.

Most students continue into ongoing weekly classes. The course gives you the foundations to train confidently alongside more experienced students — and the progression from there is clear. There's no pressure to continue, but you'll likely find you want to.
